Snupin Santa art recs
This is a bit belated, but I've rounded up some recs of my favorite Snupin Santa artwork. Please check the individual links for ratings and additional info.
Intimacy by shadowcat: "Remus loves to brush Severus's hair after a bath"--a very sweet and tender moment between our favorite couple; I love how content they both look.
Can't Take My Eyes Off of You by shadowcat: Another lovely and tender scene with Remus watching Severus as he sleeps.
Mustache & Tinsel by karasu_hime: Two drawbles from one of my favorite artists! The first shows Remus and Severus showing off their mustaches--Sev in particular wears his 'stache with panache! The second shows the pair getting into a tinsel fight as they decorate the tree, and inadvertently, themselves. They look quite adorable covered in red and green tinsel!
Feverish with the Quest (Poetry by Starduchess; illustration by karasu_hime): A beautifully illustrated poem. I love the vivid imagery of the poem, and equally love the gorgeous illustrations, particularly the delicate coating of frost on the flower (in both the photo and the drawing).
Naughty by Zhyn: Very cute piece with Remus sitting on Santa Severus's lap.
Presents by Zhyn: An AR where Severus and Remus are raising Harry--they make such a cute family!
The Frost King by Zhyn: A gorgeous illustration with beautiful colors, depicting Severus as The Frost King encountering Remus wandering through the snow.
Fairy Snape and Lupin by Jazzy2may: A lovely collection of fairy-themed Snupin pieces--two humorous, and one with a slightly eerie but beautiful feel to it. I particularly like the little fairy-Snape!
And these are a couple of pieces that both show Severus and Remus ice-skating, and it's interesting to see the differences in the way that the two artists portrayed the same theme:
See? Isn't This Fun? by shadowcat: Severus looks rather dubious, but allows Remus to lead him around the ice. I secretly suspect he's glad for the excuse to hold hands. ;-)
Winter on the Great Lake by Garonne: In this one, Severus looks confident and seems to be the one leading Remus this time, and both are smiling happily. I really loved both artists' different take on the theme!
