Hagetaka video clip (for Episodes 1-3)
Reposting this short clip of scenes from episodes 1-3, since I can now put it into context, and because it features some nice shots of Alan.
The sequence of events is as follows:
Washizu arriving by helicopter (with Alan) and being greeted by the Horizon Japan staff, including Nakanobe.
The initial meeting where he talks about buying out Japan.
Nishino Osamu confronting his father, telling him he doesn't have what it takes to run the inn.
President Nishino begging Washizu for more time to repay the loan.
Alan telling Numata, "We believe that 'time is money'." (During the bulk sale deal.)
President Okochi being interviewed after being ousted from her position by her son.
Iijima and Shibano discussing the upcoming bidding war over Sunday Toys.
Alan calcuating how much Horizon can afford to bid, as Washizu and Nakanobe look on. (That's a close-up of his hand, btw, wearing that rather ostentatious ring.)
Iijima ordering Shibano to cover up Mitsuba's role in the Sunday Toys embezzlement.
Yuka confronting Shibano about the embezzlement.
Iijima telling Shibano that he is "kakkoi" ("cool")--from the confrontation scene near the end of Episode 3 where Iijima tells him, "You're always cool. That's why you fail."
