What if Haru characters were in fandom?

I recently came across a meme about "Characters you can imagine in fandom," which then got me to musing about how the Harudaki characters might do fandom:

Iwaki does not spend a lot of time on the internet, and doesn't see the point in reading about showbiz gossip in his precious free time. Shimizu and her staff monitor social media about Iwaki (and by extension Katou) and the other actors in the agency, and keeps him apprised if she thinks there's something he needs to know.

Katou regularly browses fansites and forums to see how people are reacting to whatever his latest project is. He doesn't care when people trash-talk him and is often more amused than offended by it, but he can't stand it when fans insult his beloved Iwaki-san. On more than one occasion, he has been drawn into a flame war, indignantly defending Iwaki's honor (using an alias of course) until Iwaki finally tells him to get off the damn computer and come to bed.

Miyasaka occasionally browses fansites to check out what people are saying about him, but he has a pretty thick skin--after all, Onozuka calls him an idiot on a regular basis (albeit affectionately, most of the time). So insults mostly bounce off of him without effect, but like Katou, he gets gets upset when people insult Iwaki. Mostly he just bitches about it to Onozuka, who rolls his eyes and tells Miyasaka to stay off the internet. But when the insults are particularly outrageous, he can't resist jumping into the fray, and has often ended up defending Iwaki alongside with Katou--unbeknownst to each other, since they don't know each other's fannish handles.

Urushizaki is a regular on fansites/forums dedicated to Katou, and writes a lot of Gary Stu fanfic where Katou falls in love (and has lots of hot sex) with an OC who is usually a photographer, but occasionally a young salarymen. (In some of the stories, Iwaki dies and the OC heals his broken heart afterwards, and in others, Katou breaks up with Iwaki. In a few, Katou and the OC have a torrid affair while Katou is still married to Iwaki.) Naturally, Iwaki fans leave a lot of angry comments on his fics, but Urushizaki doesn't care and is in fact amused by how irate they get.

Kikuchi normally doesn't bother with fannish sites, and doesn't care if the fans are gossiping about him unless it adversely affects his and/or Onozuka's careers. Besides, if there's a particularly juicy and interesting piece of gossip, chances are Onozuka has already heard it and passed it on to him. (He is amused by the fact that fans write explicit fanfic about him and Onozuka, but doesn't read it because that would just be too weird.) However, since my fanon version of Kikuchi is an amateur chef, he gets caught up in cooking competition shows like Top Chef, Great British Bake Off, etc., and can sometimes be heard shouting at the TV when his favorite competitor is doing particularly well--or badly.

Onozuka knows both Katou's and Miyasaka's online aliases, and regularly hangs out on the same forums, using his own alias (unknown to the other two) to troll them by posting inflammatory remarks about Iwaki, then sitting back to watch the fun. He finds it particularly hilarious to do this while hanging out with Miyasaka, who has no idea that the troll he's arguing with is sitting in the same room as him.

Yoshizumi isn't interested in the usual fannish stuff, but he does hang out in online forums that discuss film criticism and the technical aspects of filmmaking, sometimes getting into long and passionate discussions on the subject. Due to all the samurai dramas he's done, he's done a lot of historical research online, and hangs out on those types of forums as well. He doesn't write fanfic, but if he did, it would be a really well-researched period piece, and he would make a great historical beta for fellow writers. In my fanon 'verse, he's still working on that screenplay about a low-ranking samurai. He tells himself that it's just for fun, but secretly, he would like to see it get made into a movie, while at the same time, he's afraid that if he sold it, the studio would make changes that would compromise his artistic vision. So he keeps tinkering with it, but maybe someday...

Mochimune does not hang out in online forums and could not care less what anyone says about him. That is, until someone (an old classmate, maybe) posts on social media that the famous director used to be nicknamed "Mochi" as a kid because he was short and round. I feel like it would be beneath his dignity to respond directly, so I'm not sure what form his revenge would take. Show up at the class reunion with a expensive car, expensive suit, and hot date? Or he doesn't even want to admit to himself that he cares, so he just stews silently and vents his frustration on his assistants, who creep around quietly and wait for the storm to blow over?
