Summary: A drunken challenge and two hurt lovers. Revenge and victory turned on its head. Onozuka has effective ideas when it comes to letting his lover know that he is not satisfied by being treated as a toy to save Kikuchi's pride. Director Mochimune is taught a similar lesson, and Miyasaka learns a bit about feelings himself.

I was squeeing in incoherent delight when I read this fic, and I simply cannot recommend it enough! What could have been a simple PWP inspired by the prompt "...something around Onozuka/Miyasaka. I don't have a specific plot, but fisting would be lovely, along with an occasional use of the word 'slut.' I don't have a preference as to who dominates -- let your imagination take you where it will" (see author's notes for details) turned into a wonderfully complex work about manipulation and jealousy and love.


The premise is that Kikuchi and Onozuka, and Mochimune and Miyasaka are lovers, and the two older men make a drunken bet over which of them has the most obedient lover. Miyasaka gets in over his head, but Onozuka plots to turn the tables on Kikuchi and Mochimune and teach them a lesson.

If you like my comeback series featuring Kikuchi and Onozuka, you will love this fic! Don't let the warnings of fisting and changing partners scare you off--Onozuka and Miyasaka put on a show for their lovers, but I don't think that I'm spoiling things too much by saying that it's really about revenge, and in the end, helping Miyasaka and Mochimune to realize how they really feel about each other. As for the fisting, if that sort of thing squicks you, it's described very subtly--implied rather than graphically depicted, as the warning says--which I think is actually more sexy and helps the reader get into Miyasaka's head, where he's so overwhelmed with pleasure that he's not sure exactly what's going on. The sex is very, very hot, and made more so by the growing jealousy of Kikuchi and Mochimune as they watch their young lovers carry out their bet. And there are a few nice moments of tenderness between Kikuchi and Onozuka, which contrast nicely with the less certain relationship between Miyasaka and Mochimune.

Another nice thing about this fic is that we get to see a more vulnerable side of Miyasaka, as opposed to the hot-headed idiot, and the deep friendship between Miyasaka and Onozuka is portrayed really well. I think that's what hooked me on this fic, not just the hot sex (although it is indeed great), but the genuine (and complicated) emotions between both sets of lovers, and between M & O as friends.

In short, if you are a Haru fan, go read this fic--I promise you won't be disappointed! Even if you aren't a Haru fan, the story is pretty understandable as a stand-alone, although you'll pick up on more of the nuances if you've read the manga.
