Yaoi manga available on Kindle

I'm busy working on my Haru fic and my Snupin Showers post scheduled for Monday, but I just wanted to post a quick news update that got me excited: the Japanese yaoi publisher Libre will be releasing titles on Amazon's Kindle store. According to the press release, they will be releasing 4 titles every month starting this month, April. One of the April releases is the previously out of print Golden Cain, which I reviewed here. I'm really happy to see it being made available in the US again, and while the other three titles for this month don't really interest me, I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll be releasing in the future--with 4 new titles a month, I'm sure that there will be something that will appeal to me!

Even if you don't have a Kindle or other ebook reader, you can download a free app to read Kindle books on your PC or Mac. This could actually be a good thing, since my manga collection is kind of getting out of control and I'm running out of space to store them. There seem to be a lot of DMP yaoi releases already available on Kindle, so I think I'll be searching through their manga catalog and will probably give it a try in the near future.

I'm still on the fence about getting a Kindle or Nook.

I was thinking about getting a Nook, but now I think I would rather have an iPad, since it can do lots of other nifty stuff. I'll probably wait for the 2nd generation release to come out, though, to give Apple time to work out the bugs, and it'll probably be cheaper and/or have more features.

That's true. I'm hoping to get an iPhone when my upgrade comes up soon.
