12. Have you ever attempted an "adaptation" fic of a favorite book or movie but set in a different fandom?

Well, I had Katou and several other Haru characters performing Hamlet in Realism (Hamlet Done Haru-style), but they were clearly actors performing a play, and most of the story took place backstage after the show, so I don't think that counts.

The plot of Cinderella plays a more significant role in my Snupin story, A Sort of Fairytale (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5), although once again, it's not an AU in which the HP characters have been transposed into the world of Cinderella. Rather, it has the Hogwarts teachers acting in a stage production, with Snape playing the Cinderella role and Lupin as Prince Charming. Acting in the play does help to further their real-life romance, so I guess that's the closest that I've come to an adapation.
