geri_chan | Snape and Lupin's shopping list

There is a shopping list challenge currently being posted on the lupin_snape Insane Journal asylum. I posted a list for my Always series Snape and Lupin there, but I thought I'd go ahead and re-post it here for people who might not be members of the IJ asylum. You need to have read the series to get some of the jokes, but hopefully my readers might get a laugh out of it.

Snape's shopping list:

1 pound dried aconite
1 vial snake venom ~~to poison Potter~~ for potion ingredients
1 gallon lavender oil for ~~lubricant~~ potion ingredients
(Note to self: supply seems to be going down faster than usual; check to see if Theodore and Blaise have been borrowing some for "potion experiments".)
1 bottle elf-made wine
1 box Honeydukes chocolates to get Lupin "in the mood" (not that he isn't always "in the mood"!)
1 box Honeydukes chocolates as bribes to keep Branwen's pet ~~demon~~ raven from attacking me
1 vial salamander blood for Strengthening Solution (so that I can keep up with Lupin after he eats the chocolates)

Lupin's shopping list:

1 box Honeydukes chocolates as bribes to get Severus "in the mood"
Latest ~~romance~~ adventure novel by Ariel Zoltaire; get one extra copy as gift for Dawlish
rib roast for the full moon, since the wolf likes to gnaw on bones
(note from Snape: We should just get you a rubber chew toy instead.)
Note to self: Oh, that reminds me, I should get a chew toy for Cabal!
Dog biscuits
(Note from Snape: For Cabal or for yourself?)
Rat treats for Kiseki
Owl treats for Socrates
(Note from Snape: My mother says you spoil that bird too much.)
Check import bookstore for latest shojo manga volumes
(Note from Snape: That tripe will rot your brain, Lupin...well, actually it's probably too late for you, anyway. Go ahead and buy your comic books, then.)
