38. How do you feel about genderbending? De-aging? Animalizing?

I'm generally not fond of any of those tropes. (I'm assuming that Lupin-in-werewolf-form doesn't count as "animalizing" since it's canon, though I am fond of Lupin acting puppy-ish in his wolf form: wanting to be petted and scratched behind the ears, etc.) I read mostly slash fic, and while I don't dislike femslash, I don't really want the guys that I ship to turn into girls.

However, there is a very sweet and moving Snupin fic that I love, where Snape and Lupin are reincarnated (with Snape as a girl) and get a second chance at happiness: Take Two by

I can't think of any fics where my favorite characters have been animalized, and very few de-aging fics, at least in the fandoms that I'm active in. I have come across a few de-aged Snupin fics that were enjoyable, but mostly I prefer to read about them as adults.
