Fluff:
41. Favorite fluffy tropes?
One character doing romantic things for his or her partner, especially if there's a humorous twist to it. Valentine's Day going slightly awry (but working out in the end) is a favorite trope of mine: Valentine's Day Surprise (Harudaki fandom, Katou making chocolates for Iwaki), Chocolate-Covered Werewolf (Snupin fandom, Lupin making chocolates for Snape), Valentine Biscuits (Snape making doggie biscuits for werewolf!Lupin), and Pink Confetti (Snape and Lupin wind up at Madam Puddifoot's on Valentine's Day). I used a similar theme in A Full Moon Birthday (Snape making a cake for Lupin's birthday, but werewolf!Lupin finds the cake sooner than expected). Hmm, I guess fluff involving food is also a favorite theme of mine!
I also like fluffy family fics, which for me usually involves Snape and Lupin bonding with Teddy, or Lupin and/or Teddy getting into some mischief while Snape regards them with fond exasperation. Stories that I've written include A Halloween Dilemma (werewolf!Teddy wants to go trick-or-treating during the full moon) and Wolfsbane and Mistletoe (Snape, Lupin, and Teddy spend Christmas Eve together during the full moon). There is also lots of Teddy fluff by other authors on my Teddy rec post.
