Showing off my latest Snapedom banner--I thought this one was especially perfect for a Snupin fan like me, given the full moon in the picture! ^_^ This one is for the August 2008 topic on "Severus and the Wizarding World after the War". My essay was titled "The Wizarding World after the War: Snape Goes Abroad?" and speculates that if Snape survived, he might have gone abroad to get a fresh start, since I think that's it doubtful that he would be fully accepted or trusted by the majority of the British wizarding world, in spite of any testimony that Harry might give in his defense. I think most people would always think of him as the murderer of Dumbledore, and wonder how he could commit such a terrible act, even if Dumbledore himself requested it. And I suspect that many of the students who were tortured by the Carrows during Snape's tenure as Headmaster would hold a grudge against him, along with their parents.

So I like to imagine him leaving it all behind him to go to a foreign country where no one knows him as "Severus Snape, former Death Eater". Ideally, it would be to Japan with Lupin by his side! ^_^

Title: Daiki, Part 3 (of 22)
Rating: R overall, but mostly PG-13
Pairing: Leon/D
Word count: ~4,790
Disclaimer: Characters belong to Matsuri Akino and Yumiko Kawahara; lyrics for "New World Man" are by Rush. No money is being made off this story; consider it a little wish fulfillment on my part.
Sequel to: This can be considered a continuation of my earlier series of stories (Revenge, The Day After, Spirits, Blodeuedd), but it can stand on its own as my version of what happens after Book 10.

Thanks to: Spare from the Petshop discussion group on Yahoo, who planted the plot bunny in my head about the Dolls shopkeeper being Leon and D's child! ^_^

Summary: A crossover between Petshop of Horrors by Matsuri Akino and Dolls by Yumiko Kawahara. D and Leon adjust to their new life together, and D's grandfather pays them a visit.

Part 1a, Part 1b, Part 2
