Snapedom essay: Snape's Hair

Here's my banner for my essay on Snapedom's January challenge topic, which was "Severus' Hair". It sounded like it would be a humorous topic, but it inspired a lot of interesting, serious discussion--see the various entries here.

My essay was "Beauty Is in the Eye of the Beholder," and tackles the question of "Is Snape really ugly?" The answer is probably not; it depends on who's looking at him. The way I see it, all his flaws are magnified in Harry's eyes, because of his dislike of Snape, while the Lupin in my Snupin stories probably sees him as more attractive than everyone else does. ("Shiny not greasy" is the way my Lupin describes Snape's hair. ^_^)
