21 Reasons Why This Movie Sucks videos

I've recently started reading a webcomic called Yellow Peril which is written and drawn by Asian American author Jamie Noguchi. As he puts it, "Yellow Peril is my small attempt to correct that great imbalance in the world of entertainment." It's basically an office humor story and it's pretty funny. (I really loved the recent little story arc about Kane and Ally dancing to 80s music while working late at the office.)

Anyway, aside from writing a good comic, Jamie recently posted two videos ("21 Reasons Why This Movie Sucks" parts 1 and 2) on his blog featuring Asian-American playwright Prince Gomolvilas doing a completely scathing and hilarious rant on the racial whitewashing in the movies 21 and The Last Airbender. I basically ranted on the same topic awhile back (although back then I referred to Airbender as Avatar; the title was changed to avoid confusion with James Cameron's movie about the blue aliens), but Gomolvilas does it much more succinctly and with much more humor. Honestly, I was completely cracking up while watching this, and my family probably thought I was going nuts--go check it out! ^_^
