Yoshikitty

A Japanese friend sent me this link to "Yoshikitty"--a Hello Kitty design based on a collaboration with Yoshiki, the drummer/pianist/songwriter for the Japanese heavy metal band X Japan. I'm a big X Japan fan and I would totally buy all that stuff if they sold it in the US Sanrio stories, but alas, it is only available in Japan.

It's such a bizarre combination that it really cracks me up. Only in Japan would you see a heavy metal musician with his own line of Hello Kitty merchandise! ^_^
