I've blogged before about Grace Buchele Mineta's comic books, which are humorously based on her life in Japan with her husband. She now has a fourth book out as a Kindle e-book, My Life in Japan: The Comic Book. (Apparently this was originally funded as a Kickstarter project.) Readers should be warned that it contains a lot of materical from her previous books, which some reviewers felt cheated by. However, to be fair, the comics are all in color when previous volumes were black and white, and since I was warned beforehand, I felt that the $5 I spent was worth it to support an author that I like. And honestly, I thought the introduction written by Grace's husband Ryosuke was worth the price alone, because the story of how he fell in love with her was so funny and adorable.
