Yuletide update

Hallelujah, my assignment is almost done! I'm not sure why it's taken me so long--I love the fandom, love the characters, was excited by my recip's prompt and had a basic outline of the story in my head, but somehow translating that into an actual story was harder than I thought it would be. It didn't help that I only seemed to get inspired to write just before I was supposed to go to bed (which resulted in some late night writing sessions and being a little tired the next morning). But today was productive and I should be able to wrap it up by tomorrow! 

Of course, it's still a rough draft and definitely needs some revision, but I'm happy with how it turned out and am relieved that the end is in sight!

Am celebrating by eating a gingerbread cookie! (OK, I was gonna eat the cookie anyway, but it tastes especially good now!)
