CD Japan package on the way!
Nov. 13th, 2014 10:36 pmSorry, no time for a lengthy post today, so I'll just say that I'm excited that I got an email saying that my order from CD Japan has been shipped! (It had been delayed because the Itami photo book was temporarily out of stock.) Soon I will be able to have an Aibou movie marathon and get caught up on Harudaki!
Oh man, I could easily go broke buying stuff on CD Japan! I still haven't ordered any of Ninagawa Yukio's Shakespeare dvds because they're so expensive and I can't make up my mind which one(s) I want. Ah well, maybe next time.
On a side note, it seems that the Hagetaka drama I've been raving about is based on a novel. I was browsing the catalog for the local public library system, and one of the branches actually has it, but sadly, my kanji reading comprehension is nowhere near that level. I can manage to struggle through a volume of manga with a dictionary as long as it has furigana (pronunciation guides), but there's no way I'd be able to read an actual novel. *sigh* Oh well, I suppose that a large part of the drama's appeal for me is visual anyway, but it would have been fun to read the original source of the story.
